Wuzhen wine industry was very popular in ancient times. There were more than 20 wine distillery workshops in Ming Dynasty. Gao Gongsheng Wine Distillery Workshop, Shunxing Wine Distillery Workshop and Yongsheng Wine Distillery Workshop were the most famous ones. Now, only the Gao Gongsheng is left, which was known as Gao Gongsheng Soy Sauce Workshop at first, and was founded in the early Ming Dynasty.

Sanbai Rice Wine, with glutinous rice, wheat flour and water and other natural raw materials, applying the traditional distillation methods which started hundreds of years ago.  It is mellow and pure, sweet and delicious, and is at 55 degrees. It is famous for its rich aroma, full-bodied, soft flavor, clear and endless aftertaste. For hundreds of years, it has been popular in the south of the Yangtze River.
