Originally named Run, also known as Ren, literally as Zi Kai, pen name TK, from Sude County (now Tongxiang County), modern painter, writer, and art educator. In his early years, he studied painting and music under Master Hongyi (Li Shutong) and was deeply influenced by his Buddhist thoughts. After the May Fourth Movement, he began comic creation. Early comic works were mostly based on real-life themes, with a touch of "warm satire". Later on, he often wrote ancient poetry and drew new paintings, and was particularly fond of children's themes. His comic style is simple and plain, with a meaningful and implicit artistic conception, serving as a bridge between literature and painting. In April 1975, Feng Zikai returned to his hometown to visit relatives and friends, and created multiple calligraphy and paintings to give them. On September 15 of the same year, he passed away in Shanghai and his ashes were placed at the Longhua Revolutionary Cemetery in Shanghai.
Zikai has many works to his credit, with over 160 translations of different versions over the years. Some of his works have been translated into foreign languages and distributed abroad. In ordinary and trivial matters, profound meaning is implied, and true love is seen in simplicity and elegance
